Luke has given up on city life and, in search of spiritual enlightenment, has retreated to a Buddhist centre in the Scottish Highlands. There, he meets and is drawn to the alluring owner of the Retreat, Tara.
Whether his continuing interest in Buddhism has more to do with Tara or his core beliefs is put to the test with the unexpected arrival of his older brother, Tony. Tony has frittered away his inheritance on drugs and booze and has come, seeking a bail-out from Luke. Luke however has already agreed to give all his money to Tara for the Retreat.
The ensuing battle Luke faces within himself plays out over in real time. This quick-fire play delves into the darker edges of the brothers’ lives.
