Play synopsis:

“The NHS has a funding crisis, A&E is full and ambulances are queueing up outside. This new play, brought to you by Putney Theatre Company, uses theatre and song to tell the sometimes heart-warming, sometimes heart-rending stories of the occupants of overflow ward’s Bed 13 and their clinicians. Long-listed for the Papatango prize, part comedy, part serious social commentary, this not to be missed play explores some of the challenges facing one of the UKs best loved institutions.”

Cast: 6 female, 2-3 male

We will be looking for an ensemble cast, with some actors playing more than one role. So actual age is less important than the ability to play characters of different ages. Women character ages range from 18 to 55 and men 30-70+. Some singing ability required and for some (but not all) roles the ability to sight read would be helpful
